Honored to Be a Finalist at the 2024 Clarksville Writers Conference

I’m thrilled to share that my story, My Father’s Castle, has placed in the top 10 finalists at the 2024 Clarksville Writers Conference, held at APSU! It was such an honor to be among so many talented authors and to receive the Thomas Dabney Mabry, Jr Creative Writing Award. This recognition means so much to me, especially for a story that holds a deep personal connection.

My Father’s Castle is a tale of family, legacy, and self-discovery, and being acknowledged for this work truly feels like a new beginning in my writing journey. The Clarksville Writers Conference has always been a special event, and being part of it this year, among other incredible writers, was an unforgettable experience.

I want to thank the judges, my fellow finalists, and everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to keep sharing more stories with all of you!
